Rosalía, née le 25 septembre 1992 à Sant Esteve Sesrovires (Catalogne), est une auteure-compositrice-interprète, musicienne, productrice et actrice espagnole.

Dès son plus jeune âge, elle découvre la musique folklorique espagnole et étudie l'interprétation du chant flamenco à l'École supérieure de musique de Catalogne à partir de 2014, en parallèle de ses premières expériences professionnelles dans des bars et des mariages.

Elle publie en 2017 un premier album de flamenco, Los ángeles, puis en 2018 son projet de fin d'études, l'album El mal querer, dans lequel elle explore le nouveau flamenco en mélangeant des interprétations modernes du flamenco avec les musiques pop et urbaines. Album de l'année aux Latin Grammy Awards de 2019, et inclus dans la liste des 500 plus grands albums de tous les temps du magazine Rolling Stone, El mal querer marque l'ascension de la chanteuse sur la scène musicale internationale.

En 2022, elle publie un troisième album studio, Motomami, dans lequel elle s'éloigne du nouveau flamenco pour explorer le reggaeton ; avec ses singles « La Fama », « Saoko » et « Despechá », l'album est un succès international qui hisse Rosalía au rang de star mondiale.

En 2025, son quatrième album, Lux, salué par les critiques pour sa fusion de styles de musique pop, classique et de chanson traditionnelle, est un succès international historique, battant plusieurs records pour une artiste féminine hispanophone.
